Talent and responsibility

Good morning,

The other day I was watching Sa re ga ma pa children's singing competition and was amazed by the confidence and quality of signing these little children showed. But I was shocked and saddened to see how nervous and scared they were during elimination round. Some kids were crying and some were praying frantically. It definetly was not the quiant nervous feeling anybody would get when waiting for results.

Was this the natural behavior of those kids or pressure put on by parents to come out winners in a competition. I think it is the latter. And added to that there is the pressure of proving to their gurus, like being pushed by parents was not enough.

I just pray that along with enjoying the glamor, praises and money these children are learning good life skills and building friendships rather than learning mean and conniving ways to win at any cost.
